Functional fitness challenge for Chrysalis

Get fit, have fun and support mental health.

All donations support mental health at Chrysalis in Alberta.

Here are 3 calendars of daily targets:

  1. Fire Up Calendar - your base/medium impact daily schedule

  2. Ignite Calendar - your easier/lower impact daily schedule

  3. Push Your Limits Calendar - your max/high impact daily schedule

Choose the one that best fits your fitness level.

These are just guidelines. You can also make your own daily targets as you choose.

  • Fire Up Calendar :

    2800 functional exercises during 28 days or 100 exercises/day on average

Workout schedule for four weeks with daily exercise repetitions and rest days, organized in a blue table format. Weekly numbers increase each week, starting from 50 to 200 over four weeks.
  • Ignite Calendar :

    1400 functional exercises during 28 days or 50 exercises/day on average

List of suggested functional fitness exercises to use for your challenge:

  • pushup

  • squat

  • lunge

  • split squat

  • prisoner get-up

  • step up

  • single leg deadlift

  • hip thrust

  • tricep dip

  • sit up

  • plank walk

  • inchworm

  • and the list can go on

Choose one exercise or combine more, Do what works best for you.
